Beauty...

Beauty is not about effort - how much you do or do not need to invest in order to attain perfection.
Beauty is about knowing - that you are perfection.

Life Progressing toward Life

In the end the truth is this: we progress and excel in activities and those things in which we engage ourselves and our time and our lives into most. Our lives evolve and progress in the direction in which they are headed, and this can also be the direction toward which we choose to point them.

How very lucky we are that as beings – as part of nature – we are able to influence our surroundings and our selves!

"What we call human nature is in actuality human habit," ~ Jewel Kilcher

Monday, April 26, 2010

Children develop expectation based on experience, and adapt to their surroundings; we attribute this phenomenon to the effects of nurture.

With time, children become familiar with their environment and act upon it; they become strong enough within themselves that they may cause the environment to adapt. This, then, must be what we call nature.

Transpire

…to believe that you can be something is a very close act to being the true thing.

Take Flight

A day when I was younger, I confided in a boy that I was a Forest Princess. I disclosed that I could fly, and that the animals talked to me.

“At one time,” I told him, “this was so for everyone.”

In my heart I hoped saying this would somehow make it so.

The beauty of my belief – that this could be true, that saying so could make a thing so – was the closest I have come to flight.

Monday, April 12, 2010

The only thing I know is that I can – whenever I choose – take flight.

Humility

The word Humility derives from the Latin noun Humilitas: humble; and also lowly, earthen, from the earth. Related to the adjective Humus.

Humus: the word itself is ripe and overly humid. Humus conjures images of a prehistoric marshland: moss, bog; and perhaps additionally: placenta. The very essence of genesis.

Humility is a reduction of the self into a marrow of being. Humility offers a means by which to proceed toward Agute Empacil, New Life.

We are chemicals colliding

Humans are macro-scale elements. We collide with varying chemical properties.

Some of our chemical selves are ionic; some are bipolar in nature. Centered, stable, reactive, explosive; we all seek to bond. We pursue varying quantum depths of value.

We are isotopes of our selves. We all incline to zen, completion.

The Magic

The magic that two particles should collide – or not – is what we are as of yet unable to explain, and insofar as we seek to understand this magic through science or reason, we will find a paradox of infinitely more miniscule coincidences that we cannot explain.

Life

There is no point to get or miss. So no, there is no point, other than to experience and choose who or what you want to be in every given moment.

And Life:

And life: A balance [probably] of up’s and down’s. We can try to control [probably. Why try to control?] or we can just roll.

Tuesday, February 9, 2010

And what is the purpose of life? Bliss?

Show me a man who believes he can cultivate in his life only bliss, and I will show you a man who is on the run always from his life and his innermost self.

Monday, February 8, 2010

Ignorance is bliss.
However, neither ignorance nor bliss can actually alter reality.

Sunday, January 31, 2010

And then his heart began to radiate love. From his innermost self, the love consumed his core and outward overtook his entire body, tingling, until he exploded into one million tiny pieces of laughter and love and joy and self-love.

The self-love was himself. The other million pieces were his miraculous contribution to the world and to life, so that all beings may know life and love as one strong duality.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010

Learn to face yourself and learn to love yourself; in the end this may be all we have.

Tuesday, January 19, 2010

By allowing your mistakes to go un-rectified, you allow the lesser version of your self to exist; you allow the world to be a less loving and perfect environment in which to live.

Monday, January 18, 2010

If you let yourself get into the habit of running & hiding from your mistakes and challenges, you will find that you end up always running from yourself. And you will not find peace within yourself.

Saturday, January 16, 2010

How can you face your past if you have never rectified your life's mistakes?

How can you face your future if you shirk your life's responsibilities to favor the path of least resistance?

Thursday, January 14, 2010

Short-cuts are generally not worth the satisfaction they bring in the short term; they tend to make things more difficult in the long-run.

I suspect it is our great privilege to tend to our floral minds as we please. We may cultivate as beautiful flowers as we are able to imagine.

Tuesday, January 12, 2010

Certainly though two truths can exist at the same time.

A flower and a weed can co-exist in the same garden. If left to their respective measures, one may act as an external force onto the motion of the other.

Perhaps our minds are limited in soil.

Sunday, January 10, 2010

A habit is an action that has been set into motion. A habit set into motion may become a pattern, or an addiction. So in we can control our behavior by mindfully cultivating our beautiful thoughts. Once set into motion they will flower.

Friday, January 8, 2010

A thought set into uniform motion will progress at uniform motion – no faster or more thorough – unless an external force is exerted onto it in a way that should cause it to change its direction or velocity accordingly.

Tuesday, January 5, 2010

An emotion, once created and experienced, will continue to progress at its uniform state of motion unless an external force is exerted upon it.

Monday, January 4, 2010

An individual who awakens enlightened is more likely to remain enlightened. An individual who is anxious is at constant exergonic state and will burn out.

All objects tend towards the path of least resistance; or rather, the path that requires the least energy.

This is so. Our brain develops heuristics to save mental energy.
